Grabación efectuada el 27/09/2024 del Castro y Monte de Santa Tecla (Santa Tegra, en gallego) y la desembocadura del Río Miño, efectuada con un dron DJI Mini 3 Pro, en un día muy ventoso que dificultó mucho poder operar.

El Castro es uno de los yacimientos arqueológicos más emblemáticos y visitados de Galicia. Ubicado en el Monte de Santa Tecla, a 341 metros de altitud, este poblado castreñoocupa una extensión aproximada de 700 metros de norte a sur y 300 metros de este a oeste, convirtiéndolo en uno de los mayores castros del noroeste peninsular. Su ocupación se data entre el siglo I a.C. y el siglo I d.C., coincidiendo con el inicio del proceso de romanización. El castro está delimitado por una muralla y alberga numerosas construcciones circulares, típicas de la cultura castreña, así como algunas rectangulares de influencia romana.

El Monte de Santa Tecla se encuentra en el extremo más sudoccidental de Galicia, en el municipio de La Guardia, en Pontevedra. Este enclave privilegiado ofrece vistas panorámicas de la desembocadura del río Miño y del Océano Atlántico. Además del castro, el monte alberga otros puntos de interés como la ermita dedicada a Santa Tecla, un cruceiro del siglo XVI, y el Museo Arqueológico, que exhibe importantes piezas encontradas en el yacimiento, incluyendo una notable colección de esvásticas celtas.

La Guardia, el municipio donde se ubica el Monte de Santa Tecla, es una localidad costera situada en la desembocadura del río Miño, que marca la frontera entre España y Portugal. Esta ubicación estratégica ha sido fundamental para el desarrollo histórico de la zona, proporcionando recursos pesqueros, marisqueros y tierras cultivables. La desembocadura del Miño ofrece un paisaje espectacular, visible desde lo alto del monte, donde se puede apreciar la confluencia del río con el Océano Atlántico, creando un entorno natural de gran belleza e importancia ecológica.

Its occupation dates between the 1st century BC and the 1st century AD, coinciding with the beginning of the Romanization process. The castro is delimited by a wall and houses numerous circular constructions, typical of castro culture, as well as some rectangular ones of Roman influence.
Monte de Santa Tecla is located in the southwestern-most tip of Galicia, in the municipality of La Guardia, in Pontevedra. This privileged enclave offers panoramic views of the mouth of the Miño River and the Atlantic Ocean.
